Catch-Up Session For Social Enterprise

 

Canopy Sands Development, a subsidiary of Prince Group under the leadership of Chen Zhi Cambodia, is pleased to have hosted Dara Huot, Chief Executive Officer of Phare Performing Social Enterprise, and his team. Phare Performing Social Enterprise is a Siem Reap social enterprise that has supported Phare Ponleu Selpak NGO in Battambang since 1994 by funding art schools, educational programmes, and social support.

We informed Phare of our intentions for Sihanoukville, where a significant coastal development project will rejuvenate Cambodia's third-largest city by means of world-class initiatives and inclusive growth.

In terms of community participation in Sihanoukville, our philanthropic arm, Prince Foundation, collaborated with Plan International (Cambodia) to ensure that schools could reopen safely at the beginning of the school year! Read more

We also recently attended a fundraiser for Phare Punleau Selpak at the Rosewood Phnom Penh to show our appreciation for the wonderful job they are doing to enhance the lives of Cambodians via arts education.

Launching Scholarship Plans

  One of Cambodia's largest conglomerates, Prince Holding Group ("Prince Group"), has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) to launch a scholarship programme for Cambodian university students. Prince Group will cover the full cost of tuition and stipends for 400 selected students pursuing Bachelor of Science degrees at top Cambodian universities such as the Royal University of Phnom Penh, the National University of Management, and the Cambodian Institute of Technology. Over the course of seven years, the Prince Group will contribute more than $2 million. Prince Group will collaborate with the government to achieve the goals outlined in the Education Strategic Plan, as public-private partnerships are critical (2019-2023). Economic Retail Development For Phnom Penh
